Speech & Language Therapy for Mainstream, Specialist, SEMH Schools & EOTAS Providers

Speech and Language Therapy is a growing need within schools, with increasing numbers of children requiring support for speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). The SEND reforms outlined in the 2026 SEND White Paper highlight the importance of specialist input from qualified Speech and Language Therapists to support identification, assessment, and intervention in education settings.

We work in partnership with schools, Multi-Academy Trusts and EOTAS providers to deliver high-quality, evidence-based speech and language therapy in education settings, supporting staff and improving outcomes for children.  We can create Trust wide Speech & Language Therapy strategy to develop and maintain provision maps.

Our graduated approach offers three levels of support: Universal, Targeted Plus, and Specialist, enabling us to support whole-school communication needs while also providing gold-standard assessment and intervention for pupils with more complex difficulties.

Inclusion Base

Many schools and Trusts are developing Inclusion Bases to provide inclusive, specialist support for children who are struggling to access mainstream learning.

Our experienced Speech and Language Therapists work alongside schools to help design and develop these Hubs, ensuring that children, staff and families are fully supported. We help schools to understand each child’s individual communication profile, including their language level, sensory communication behaviours, communication preferences and needs (including gestalt language processing). This enables staff to adapt teaching approaches and create communication-friendly learning environments.

Our support includes Inclusion Base staff training, consultation for SENCOs and teachers, parent sessions, and practical guidance for LSAs supporting children in group settings. We also provide autism-friendly, neuro-affirmative therapy tailored to each child’s communication needs, including the use of alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) where appropriate.

Our aim is simple: to help children feel understood, confident and able to thrive within their school community.

  • Training and staff up-skilling:  What is autism and how does it present in our young people?

  • SENCo support for grouping, curriculum adjustments and communication support

  • Visuals support and resource advice

  • Direct therapy

  • Advice on AAC

  • Gestalt Language Processing
