Elizabeth Fox

Senior Speech and Language Therapist - Service Lead (South West)
Lizzie is one of the service leads in C&D and heads up the South West branch of the company.
She specialises in working with children and adolescents in educational and clinical settings with a range of speech, language and communication difficulties. Lizzie is qualified and experienced in the use of PROMPT, Makaton signing, British Sign Language (BSL), Lidcombe Early Stammering Intervention Programme, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), Word Aware, Lego Therapy, Shape Coding, Nuffield Dyspraxia Programme and Attention Autism. She is an ELKLAN tutor and an Early Language Development Programme (ELDP) trainer.
Lizzie works in Bath, Bristol and the surrounding areas, including Wiltshire and South Gloucestershire. Her special interest is speech sound difficulties.
In her spare time Lizzie enjoys running, hiking adventures and spending time with her family (including black cat Eric!).
Sophie Chamberlain

Senior Speech and Language Therapist
Sophie qualified from the University of Essex with an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy in 2017. Before applying to become a Speech and Language Therapist, Sophie worked as a support worker in a day service for adults with learning disabilities. Sophie had her first placement with C&D Speech Therapy whilst at university. Sophie has previously worked for the NHS in mainstream schools, specialist schools and in a community clinic. Sophie currently works in schools, homes and nurseries in the South West, including Bath, Bristol and the surrounding South Gloucestershire area.
Sophie has experience in a wide range of interventions such as Colourful Semantics, Lego Therapy, Attention Autism, Socially Thinking and Talkabout. Sophie is trained in using PECS and Makaton signing. Her particular areas of interest include Down Syndrome and ASD.
In her spare time, Sophie enjoys cooking, the gym and travelling.
Lewis Medolla

Speech and Language Therapist
Lewis qualified from Manchester Metropolitan University with an Bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Pathology and Therapy in 2016. As well as working as a Speech and Language Therapist, Lewis has 15yrs of experience working within the state education system, where he has conducted educational and therapeutic intervention with learners across all key stages and overseen the delivery of Special Educational Needs provisions. Lewis also has a Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Bath Spa and has developed language provisions for learners who use English as an Additional Language (EAL) in mainstream schools.
Lewis has experience delivering targeted speech, language and communication intervention for a variety of needs including: speech sound disorder, Developmental Language Disorder (DLD), social communication difficulties and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC). His most recent experience has been with young learners with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs and complex needs in a specialist setting.
Lewis has experience in administering formal assessments, such as the Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals 5 and delivering a variety of interventions such as, Shape Coding, Language for Thinking, Language for Behaviour and Emotions and the Derbyshire Language Scheme.
In his spare time, Lewis enjoys music, film, physical training, reading and spending time in nature with his partner.
Laura Panteli

Speech and Language Therapist (Pending registration)
Laura qualified from the University of Reading with an MSc in Speech and Language Therapy in 2025. Before this, she worked for over a decade as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant, supporting children and young people across mainstream and specialist settings.
She has experience working with a wide range of speech, language and communication needs, including speech sound disorders, stammering, social communication difficulties, and complex needs and learning difficulties.
Laura has experience delivering targeted intervention for diverse populations, including children with Autism, Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and those with complex, co-occurring diagnoses. She has supported AAC users including those using PODD and GRID-based systems, and is trained in Attention Autism, Makaton and dysphagia management techniques.
Laura is passionate about flexible, empowering, and child-centred therapy, with a strong focus on participation and meaningful outcomes. She works closely with families and multidisciplinary teams across homes, schools, and community settings to ensure joined-up care.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys keeping active – hiking, swimming, running and going to the gym. She loves to read and travel the world!
